Real Estate Courses
Seeking your Pennsylvania real estate license? Start your realtor training at Bucks County Community College. Our Real Estate Fundamentals (REAL-101) and Real Estate Practice and Liability (REAL-102) qualifies you to sit for the Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson Exam. Complete both courses in as little as 12-15 weeks through synchronous learning with live remote instruction or an asynchronous eLearning format without specific meeting times.
REAL-101 Real Estate Fundamentals (2 credits)
This is a basic course designed to provide students with an overview of real estate practice in Pennsylvania. Students learn the language, principles, and laws governing the real estate profession, with an emphasis on land, property rights in realty and practices, and the laws governing conveyance of these rights.
REAL-102 Real Estate Practice and Liability (3 credits)
This course is designed to provide students with an overview of real estate license law/rules, legal liability, and risk reduction in Pennsylvania. Specific topics include negligence, fraud, and government rules/laws. Students learn key areas of potential liability, avoiding liability, and how to identify/understand the role of government/laws.
The cost to complete both courses is based on our 2022-23 tuition rates* and includes access to all course materials.
