If you are interested in pursuing a career in the legal field or want to learn more about the law in general, you will get exposure to the legal profession through various practical projects, exercises, and meetings. You will participate in negotiation, arbitration, and
mediation simulations. You will also analyze real cases alongside a licensed attorney. You will have the opportunity to exercise your networking skills with various members of the local legal community. At the end of the Program, you will receive a Certificate
of Completion. You will leave with a practical understanding of the law, connections to your local legal community, and a credential for your professional portfolio.
Although there is no minimum age, this program is recommended for students ages 13 and older.

Art Goes to Japan is a creative cultural art class that introduces students to traditional and contemporary Japanese art forms/methods through hands-on exploration and play. Young artists will discover the beauty of ink, paper, water, texture, and nature while learning about Japanese artistic traditions and techniques.
The Art of Paper (Ages 9+) RCHYC 9008 C01
Explore creative ways to make your own paper using everyday materials and modern techniques. You will learn Joomchi, a Korean method of layering and kneading mulberry paper; Momigami, a Japanese process that transforms paper into a soft, cloth-like material; sheet forming with recycled pulp; and faux paper techniques using embellishments for added color and texture. Using simple, accessible materials, You will experiment with texture, structure, and composition while creating unique paper pieces. No prior experience is needed.
Personal Finance (Ages 13-17) RCHYC 9006 C01
Working with real life examples, you will learn how to make good financial decisions when choosing housing, buying a car, and paying for college. You will learn how to use credit, choosing investments and how to calculate the time value of money. Using your financial skills, you will be prepared to prioritize needs over wants, live within their means, and make conscious spending choices.
