This course is ideal for new homeowners, DIY beginners and those with DIY experience as well. Course offerings cover the following topics: Tool basics, painting and design, electric and plumbing basics, weatherization, caulking and walls (fixing and hanging items). On the third class, you will bring your own drill to class and master its use with Beth’s guidance.

Shadows and Secrets: Exploring American Gothic Short Fiction RCEGN 9057 C01
This six-part noncredit series invites participants to explore the eerie, unsettling, and psychologically complex world of American Gothic literature. Each session will focus on one masterful short story that captures the genre’s tension between the ordinary and the macabre. Students are encouraged to read the story before class.
