Parents/Guardians must register their camper for After Care the Monday before camper’s camp begins. Campers who are enrolled in the After Care program will be taken to After Care at the end of the regular camp day. The After Care Program is located in the Gallagher Room in the Rollins building on campus. Parents/Guardians must show Photo I.D. when picking up their camper.

Dance Upon a Star RCHYC 6232 C01
Join us for a week of dance and Disney fun! Campers will learn the building blocks of dance styles, including ballet, tap, and Jazz, while moving and singing along to our favorite music from Encanto, Frozen, Moana, and more! Each day, we will explore a new magical theme and do crafts and activities related to these popular movies and stories. The five-day camp will conclude with a short dance performance for friends and family to come cheer on their stars!

Are you ready for an art expedition? Let the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom inspire your empathy, curiosity, and creativity. Learn about lions, elephants, sharks and more, and find out how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. Experiment with a variety of art techniques and use Crayola products to create animal-inspired art projects, from frog paintings to polar bear sculptures! Let your creativity run wild, and bring your handiwork home to build a menagerie of animal-themed masterpieces
Eureka: Flight to the Future
Bring your imagination and let it SOAR as you create a squadron of paper airplanes the Wright brothers would be proud of! Explore technological advances in flight: hot air balloons, flying machines, stomp rockets, and spacecraft. Become inspired by Verne and Asimov! All campers will build and take home their own sci-fi inspired light sabers!

Explore the wonderful world of art using different art mediums and materials. Let your creativity lead the way! Create beautiful works of art while using the elements of art and principles of design. We will be painting, drawing, sculpting, and creating much, much more! Please bring an art smock as we will be getting messy as we create!

Find the budding artist in you! We will make crafts using buttons, paper-mache, yarn, and watercolors. We will be using recycled materials to make wind catchers and some modern art pieces. We will be having a lot of fun with paints, jewelry, slime, and much more.

NASA: Journey to Outer Space
Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena. Create a comet and build your own Mad Science rocket and participate in a real NASA style rocket launch! Campers will take home additional NASA activities to complete at home! Mad Science is the ONLY organization licensed by NASA to use these activities for Summer Camp!
NASA: STEM Explorers
Developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA Optimus Prime Research Challenge (NASA OPSPARC). Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes to solve a problem here on Earth?

Come chill out with us in Get Your Zen On camp! Learn about different ways to relax and express yourself through moving your body, creating art, and using your words. Chemical Curiosities
Become a skilled science sleuth while investigating the role of chemistry at the scene of a crime! Learn about chemical reactions as you grow crystals. We will use dental alginate to make fabulous finger molds and the chemistry continues as we create sidewalk chalk from scratch, design chromatography bandanas to take home, and even make your very own ice cream!
Super Slimy Smokey Science
Dive into a variety of scientific fields as you mix and stretch silly putty and slime, copperplate nickels, and investigate the mysteries of optical illusions. Become captivated by lasers, dry ice, watch hair-raising Van de Graaff experiments, help solve a mystery, and so much more! Tinker with circuits, catapults, and experience what happens when you mix science and fun!

Explore the many ways that art is made. Campers will be introduced to various drawing materials and techniques as well as painting, printmaking, and collage. Whether you enjoy building or destroying structures, you’ll love this camp! Work with pulleys, wedges, screws, and levers, build your own catapults and play robot soccer! Exercise your ability to work with others while constructing a geodesic dome big enough for all campers to fit inside! Let the engineering excitement begin!
Eureka: Launching with Legends
Anyone can be an inventor! Discover the work of da Vinci, Edison, Tesla, and Benjamin Franklin and use what you learn to invent solutions to everyday problems. You’ll prepare patent proposals, receive a patent certificate, build your own catapult, and even launch projectiles off a large trebuchet! You’ll bring home countless cool inventions!

Add one cup bubble making to 1/2 cup of invisible ink. Sprinkle in building volcanoes and marshmallow bridges. Add 2 teaspoons of slime-making and whip in some air to make balloons and airplanes. Pour in 1 Tbsp. color experimentation with icing. Taste lemon fizzes, homemade ice-cream, different flavored cookies. Mix it all together with afternoon outside time and you get fun and a dash of excitement.

Junior Naturalist
Learn how birds and beasts catch their prey! Flow through the food chain and discover how animals and insects adapt to life on our planet. Explore how a change in the wind, water, and temperature affects all of Earth’s inhabitants. Build wooden birdhouses, dissect owl pellets, and learn how animals navigate the world using scent trails. Campers will also build a bug house to observe critters and identify animals by making plaster animal tracks.
Junior Physicians Academy
Explore all the cells, organs, muscles, and bones that make up YOU! Put yourself together from the inside out, while learning about all the systems that make your body tick! Get microscopic while making a model cell, create a stethoscope to hear your heartbeat, and inflate model lungs that work just like yours! Get a little sticky while making “Mad Mucus” and a mashed potato brain!

From Dinosaurs to Ancient Civilizations. Learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities. Discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life. Study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils; understand what they can tell us about history. Make and take-home projects each day, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, coins from around the world!

Find the maker in you! Use design thinking to boost creativity and bring out the maker in yourself. See creativity and innovation through a new lens. The most creative and innovative work comes from circumstances that force a new type of thinking for solutions. We will have fun brainstorming and designing maker activities such as marble mazes, Lego challenges, bead coding, bridges, flotation devices and much more. Prepare for take-off! Ready, set, blast off! As we learn about what it takes to become astronauts, we will travel through space to learn about the planets in our solar system. Learn facts about each planet and build your own spaceship. While in space, we will create our own planets, and search for aliens.
