
Accelerated Welding Program
Looking to start a new career in welding or advance your existing skillset? The accelerated Welding Program at Bucks County Community College gives you hands-on experience at our state-of-the-art facility in Bristol, PA. Offering introductory, intermediate and advanced sections, you can take one or all three levels.
Our curriculum aligns with the American Welding Society (AWS) Schools Excelling through National Skills Standard Education (SENSE) program. All three levels prepare you for AWS SENSE certificates.
Each level of the Welding Program is 16 weeks, 96 hours total. Each level counts as 4 college credits towards an Advanced Technology or Engineering Technology associates degree. If you complete all three levels, you earn 12 credits towards a degree.
Level 1 classes: Starting November 14, 2023
Level 2 classes: Starting November 27, 2023
To enroll in Level 2, you must have taken or test out of Level 1.
Class Schedule: each level is 2 days a week, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
