- Have a valid in-state or out-of-state driver's license (Class C).
- Be 18 years old (to drive in-state) or 21 years old (to drive out of state).
- Understand, read, and speak basic English.
- Provide a 3-year driving history record.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Participants must also complete the Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and physical.
- A valid CDL permit is required before the second week of class.
- Required documents: 2 proofs of residence, birth certificate or evidence of lawful presence, social security card, high school diploma or GED.

Are you thinking about a career in the trucking industry? The Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program at Bucks County Community College will get you on the road to a new career in as little as five weeks.
Our experienced instructors provide hands-on support through classroom instruction, at the driving range, and on-road training. You'll gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to sit for the Class A CDL test.
After completing our program, you'll be well on your way to an entry-level job as a tractor-trailer driver with a quality carrier. Many companies we've partnered with provide additional in-house training to entry-level drivers. Local employment opportunities also exist for the more capable graduates.

Length: 5 weeks (170 hours)
When: Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
