American Sign Language
Learn a new foreign language in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, learn to communicate by using simple grammatical structures and useful phrases related to travel, business and more. A dash of culture and current events will be included!
American Sign Language is now being offered in four levels. Scroll down to see a full decription on each class to find the one that is perfect for you!
- Course 1: For beginners only, for students who have no experience with the foreign language.
- Course 2: For students who have completed Course I, or who have a basic knowledge of the foreign language.
- Course 3 and beyond: Sequel courses will continue to be offered as long as there is sufficient interest.

This class is an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL), one of the primary languages used by the Deaf community in the United States. This class is intended for absolute beginners with no prior knowledge of ASL, and will be taught by a Deaf individual. You will be introduced to ASL grammar, Deaf culture, and the history of Deaf culture and ASL.

This is the second level of American Sign Language (ASL) classes. This class is intended for beginners with some prior knowledge of ASL – specifically, students who have already taken and passed ASL I or who have been evaluated into this level (in case of students who already have prior knowledge but didn’t take classes with us). In this class, you will continue to learn ASL vocabulary, ASL grammar, Deaf culture, and the history of Deaf culture and ASL. This class is taught by a Deaf individual.

In this class, you will continue to learn ASL vocabulary, ASL grammar, Deaf culture, and the history of Deaf culture and ASL. This class will be taught by a Deaf individual.

This course is designed for students who have little or no Chinese language knowledge. The emphasis of this course is on listening and speaking Chinese. Additionally, the course will integrate Chinese culture into language learning and enhance the practices of Chinese language. Greg Tang, M.S.
