Bucks County Community College also encourages community service throughout the year. For example, we have more than 40 student clubs and organizations who are required to execute a community service project each semester. Recent projects include donations to food pantries, A Woman’s Place shelter, YMCA Pathways for Veterans, and VFW Post 6393; cleaning debris at the Churchville Nature Center; construction projects with Habitat for Humanity; and first-aid epilepsy training. In addition, Men’s and Women’s Soccer volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia to play with children and their families.
