Registering for historic preservation courses is easy!
If you are a currently-enrolled Bucks student:
- Use the Student Planning module to add your desired course to your planner. Your adviser approves your courses as usual.
If you are a prospective Bucks student looking to enroll in the Historic Preservation program:
- You must complete the full enrollment process. Start that here: www.bucks.edu/apply. If it is close to the beginning of the semester, you should plan to attend one of the walk-in events at the Bucks campuses or come to the Registration office at the Bucks Newtown campus. To earn a degree or certificate, you will need to take placement tests (or have them waived) and receive academic advising.
If you a community member looking to take a course for enrichment and you HAVE previously taken a Bucks course at any time in the past:
- Reactivate your student account at this page: www.bucks.edu/apply. It may take a business day or two for this to happen.
- You should indicate that you are a Non-Degree Seeking student. If you decide at a later time to pursue the Historic Preservation Certificate, you will be able to apply the courses you take for a grade toward the Certificate.
If you a community member looking to take a course for enrichment and have NOT previously taken a Bucks course before:

- You should indicate that you are a Non-Degree Seeking student. If you decide at a later time to pursue the Historic Preservation Certificate, you will be able to apply the courses you take for a grade toward the Certificate.
- If you indicate you are a Non-Degree Seeking student, you will not have to take Placement Tests nor will you have to take COLL101: College Success Seminar.
