Admission/Registration Information
Registration and Enrollment Overview
Step 1. Review Courses
- Review the current Nurse Aide course offerings
- Print the Nurse Aide Policy and Admission Procedures Handbook
Step 2. Apply
- Create a New Customer Account and log in
- Hover on Find A Program in the navigation menu
- Select Program Catalogs
- Click on Healthcare
- Find your course and select Apply

Step 3. Submit Required Documents
After your application is submitted and reviewed, the Program Coordinator will contact you with instructions for completing the required documentation for enrollment.
Once completed, send all documents to Karen Souvigney at Karen.Souvigney@bucks.edu. Documents sent to the nurseaide@bucks.edu email will not be accepted.
- Scan all of your documents as either JPEG or PDF.
- Documents must be attached to one (1) email.
- Google Docs will not be accepted.
- Randomly submitted forms will not be accepted.
Required documents
- Two (2) forms of signature bearing IDs – One of which must be a photo bearing PA ID
- Verification of Pennsylvania residency
- Pennsylvania Criminal Background (CHRI) – Certificate form
- Physical form found in the Admissions handbook
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance – Two (2) step PPD (Purified Protein Derivative), QuantiFERON (QFT) and T-SPOT or chest X-ray (CXR) (if done in place of PPD and is under three (3) years old)
- Drug Screen Receipt
- Drug screen results are sent directly and confidentially to Bucks
- Policy Form – Must be signed by parent/guardian if applicant is not 18 years old
- Flu Vaccine – Only for clinical rotations commencing October to March
- COVID Vaccine – Only required for classes held at Holy Redeemer
- FBI clearance only if you have not lived in Pennsylvania for the last two (2) years
Step 4. Payment
Once your forms are accepted and meet the requirements, you will receive a notification of approval to proceed with payment and enrollment.

- Log in to your account
- Hover on Academics in the navigation menu.
- Select My Programs
- Review your Upcoming Course(s)
- Click on Register
- Go back to: https://exploreandenroll.bucks.edu/modules/shop/ You will not be able to pay for the class until you have been approved for enrollment

Step 5. Enrollment Confirmation
An email confirming your class placement will be issued once payment is complete.
