Steps to Enroll in Summer Kinesiology Dual Enrollment Courses at Bucks

Students from Council Rock School District interested in taking kinesiology classes over the summer must complete the following steps:
  1. Apply to Bucks County Community College!

     

    • Use your personal email address and not a school email address.
    • Select Dual Enrollment as your Applicant Type
    • Upon admission, you will receive an email with important information, including your Bucks Student ID number and instructions on how to access your Bucks student email.
  2. Take the reading placement test online or in-person to remove the placement testing hold in your Workday account.

     

    • Online testing instructions
    • Schedule in-person testing at Newtown campus
  3. Review and acknowledge the Dual Enrollment Intent to Enroll Student Acknowledgment and Consent document located in your Workday account to remove the Intent to Enroll hold. This can be completed by navigating to the Holds section in Workday.

     

    • Once acknowledging and agreeing to the information, your registration hold will be removed and you can register for courses.
  4. Register for Summer courses in your Workday account:

     

    • Review Workday how-to videos and resources
    • View the Academic Calendar
  5. You will receive an email from Bucks when your bill is ready for payment the next day after registering for your course.

     

    • If the dual enrollment course you are taking has a course fee, you are also responsible for paying the course fee along with tuition.

Online Reading Placement Test

The online reading placement test is a one-hour timed test. You will answer 40 multiple-choice questions on reading passages. Once you go forward to the next question, you cannot go back to a previous question.

Important: The test can only be administered on a computer. If you do not have access to a computer, you must test in person in the Testing Center at Newtown Campus.

Creating Your Account

  1. Open the College Success website (college.measuredsuccess.com)
    • Make sure pop-ups are enabled.
  2. Select Is My Computer Ready? to verify your browser meets the requirements.
    • *If you have technical issues with College Success, their tech support information is available at the bottom of this document.

  3. Once verified, select Student Self-Registration
  4. Under Institution, select BCCC (Pilot)
  5. Under Site, select Bucks
  6. Under Site Password, enter VAN126923

  7. Enter your personal information
  8.  Submit
    • If you already created an account and logged out/timed out, have previously taken a test through College Success, or receive the message, "Please verify that you have correctly entered your Student ID. If this problem persists, please see your proctor." you will need to contact the Testing Center at testing@bucks.edu for assistance.
  9. Click OK to create your account
  10. Next, click Accept on the End User Service Agreement

Ready to Test

  1. In the Access Key line, enter Reading2022 (case-sensitive) and Submit.

  2. Reading is now on your list of tests. Select Reading to launch the test.
  3. Follow the instructions on screen to take and complete the test.
