Parent/Guardian Proxy
Bucks Parent/Guardian Proxy provides students with the ability to grant permission to parents or guardians to view certain pages of information currently available in the student account. You manage the creation of a proxy and the pages of information the parent/guardian can view.
To grant permission for a parent/guardian to view certain pages of information in your Workday Student account:
- Log in to Workday Student
- Open your profile
- On desktop, click on your profile image
- On mobile, click the profile icon
- Select “Contact”
- Choose “Friends and Family” and click “Add”
- Under relationship types, select “Proxy”
- Check the box labeled “Is Third Party User”
- Complete all required fields in both “Name” and “Contact Information” fields with your proxy’s information including the proxy’s email address that will receive the proxy follow-up email.
- Once you have added your proxy, you can assign permissions
- Go back to the “Friends and Family” area
- Navigate to the “Actions” drop-down menu
- Select “Manage Permissions for My Third Party”
- There are four areas of your record you may assign proxy access to in Workday: financial aid, current classes, grades, and official transcript. Select any/all that apply.
- Complete the consent form that follows
Set up a Proxy for Billing
To grant permission for a parent/guardian to view your billing information or remit payment on your behalf:
- Log in to Workday Student
- Navigate to the "Finances App"
- Select “Payer Invitation/Proxy Access" from the “My Student Accounts Detail” section (you will be directed out of Workday to our payment portal)
- Click “Send a Payer Invitation” or the “My Account” menu option
- Provide the name and email address of the person for who you are setting up proxy access
- Mange the statement permission by checking or unchecking the box
- Click “Send Invitation” and the proxy well be sent their username and temporary password as well as the web address for their account
