Environmental Health & Safety
Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) helps keep our campus safe, healthy, and sustainable. We work to reduce risks, meet state and federal safety rules, and build a culture of safety for students, employees, and visitors.
What We Do
We provide resources, training, and support in areas such as:
- Workplace safety: Hazard reporting, accident prevention, ergonomics, and inspections
- Environmental protection: Waste disposal, recycling, chemical handling, and sustainability
- Emergency readiness: Evacuation plans, severe weather response, and disaster preparation
- Health and wellness: Air quality, exposure control, and occupational health
- Compliance: Guidance on OSHA, EPA, and state safety standards

Campus Health and Safety Working Group
This working group is comprised of a wide range of representatives from faculty, administrative, and classified staff. The group meets monthly to discuss issues involving occupational, building, and environmental safety to ensure that Bucks fosters a culture of safety across all campuses.
