If you have multiple children that you want to register for camp(s), then you must create an account and update profile for each child separately.

Camp Cancellation Information
- Please make sure you register early to help avoid camp cancellations.
- The week before a camp is scheduled to run, we look at the enrollment numbers and will make a final decision if a camp has enough registrations to run. If we need to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, our Registration Office will notify you. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
- If we need to cancel a camp for any reason, we will make every attempt to place your camper in another camp. Otherwise, we will give you a full refund for the camp that we cancelled.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a higher price point than the camp we cancelled, you will need to pay the difference. This is due to the camp supplies fees that are included in the price of the camp.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a lower price point than the camp we cancelled, we will refund you the difference.

Kids on Campus Camps
Kids on Campus offers specialized camps whose structure mirrors a classroom at school. Some camps may experience long periods of either independent and/or group work. Other camps will show a variety of age and camp theme appropriate movies, shows, and/or clips for campers to watch throughout the week of camp. Some camps will show these age-appropriate movies to campers, especially during inclement weather and/or on the last day of camp. Each camp is different, and we encourage you to talk with the camp instructor about the camp’s activities at morning drop-off and/or afternoon pick-up of campers during the summer.

Pickleball RCHYC 6241 C01
Participants will be provided opportunities to exercise hand-eye coordination while learning to use proper grip of the paddle, footwork, swing coordination hitting the ball and stroke coordination hitting a serve, ground stroke and volley. Game scoring and team cooperation will be introduced and will support different levels of ability. The focus of this camp is on cooperation and fun. It is recommended that campers bring extra water.

Use your imagination and creativity to escape the dangers of an island and make it back into space! Explore technological advances: submarines, boats, stomp rockets, and spacecraft. Discover science fiction through the works of Jules Verne and Isaac Asimov. All campers will build and take home their own sci-fi-inspired light sabers!
Eureka: Launching with Legends
Discover the work of da Vinci, Edison, Tesla, and Benjamin Franklin and use what you learn to invent solutions to everyday problems. You’ll prepare a proposal and receive a patent certificate for your very own invention. Build your own catapult, and even launch projectiles off a large trebuchet! You’ll bring home countless cool inventions and a squadron of paper airplanes the Wright brothers would be proud of!

*This camp goes out fishing every day and campers will experience the summer heat. It is highly recommended campers bring hat, sunscreen, extra water and wear clothing and shoes that parents and campers don’t mind getting dirty or wet. The campers will take water and shade breaks throughout the day. Campers will be fishing in the rain; however, if there is a severe storm, the camp will be inside.
Fishing is a quintessential summer activity, and we’ll show you everything you need to know to get started in the hobby or take your fishing to the next level! Our activities will be based in Tyler State Park, which offers an exciting variety of fish species to target and several excellent locations to do so. Throughout the week, we’ll also develop various important skills that all fishermen can benefit from, including rod and gear maintenance, choosing the right tackle for your target fish, fishing safety and etiquette, and more! All skill levels are welcome, and while we encourage campers to bring their own gear if they have it, gear/tackle will be provided if necessary. We will be outside for the majority of each day, so good outdoor shoes, clothing, and water bottles are highly recommended. Bring rain gear if conditions merit it.

This camp takes a dive into the world of writing. We will work on character development, storyline and plot and finish the week with a children’s book of our own making. We will be doing other activities to further our writing such as poetry workshops and creative writing exercises. Let’s dive into our imaginations together! I can’t wait to read what you write.

Flag Football Camp will focus on building basic football fundamentals in a positive environment. Led by an instructor with 28 years coaching experience on the college level, we will teach the fast-paced game of flag football in a fun and safe way. This camp is a great opportunity to try all positions, learn football strategy, develop skills, and gain confidence. We will conduct every drill and competition with an emphasis on being a great teammate! All skill levels are welcome and encouraged! No Cleats required.

These classes were developed with Lego Master Builders! Campers will build machines that go! From race cars to boats, and drawing machines to insects, our creations are on the move. Each day we will explore a different engineering concept and put what we learn to the test. Campers will receive a take home activity each day. Let the building begin!
Lego Brixology Amazing Architecture
Working with Lego Master Builders, we set our sights on designing structures that work. Towers need elevators and rocket capsules need parachutes. In this session, we explore all things structural. From bridges to carnival rides and towers to Mars landers. We build it, test it, and then expand our creations. This session is fun for all who like to tinker. Campers will receive a take home activity each day. Let the building begin!

*For each day of camp, campers will experience some instruction and examples before going off to work independently or in a group. This camp is designed to give campers as much lab time as possible to work on their creations.
In this dynamic week of camp, campers will create their own stop motion films from scratch, using Lego bricks and other small toy figures, if they wish! The instructor will be there every step of the way, helping you create your very own stop motion video! You will learn the animation process; create a workspace, develop a story, build a set, and shoot a stop motion animation using a smartphone/iPad, the app, Stop Motion Studio Pro! and Lego mini-figs.
Campers will need to bring their own Legos and other small toys to animate. Campers will be responsible for their own Lego sets and other small toys and will not be sharing them with other campers in this camp.

It may feel like you need to travel to far off, exotic places to have incredible experiences with wildlife, but that is not the case! Learn about the staggering diversity of species found right in your own backyard through hands on activities, real scientific methods, and lots of outdoor exploration! Good outdoor shoes, clothing, and water bottles are highly recommended, as we will be exploring nature for real. Bring rain gear if conditions merit it.

Here is your opportunity to express your most creative self in a myriad of art projects! You will gain confidence as you spontaneously create imaginative works of art that reflect your own unique self. You will learn about and use many different techniques and media including printmaking, drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and weaving. Discover the best in yourself. During the week there will be educational videos shown along with a movie during clean up times.
Intro to Film and TV Camp RCHYC 6166 C01
*Campers work in teams and learn both in front and behind the camera learning various roles for show-creation. Green screens are used behind them to allow the projecting of cool graphics onto the background. For this reason, campers are urged not to wear green attire.
Your camper will work as cast and crew teams in this innovative cool camp. Campers are taught the basic levels of acting, directing, voice-over, operating the camera and working on green screen. Script writing, storyboarding and improvisation will also be introduced. Each day is different as they create projects such as commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills and confidence.
Materials Campers need to bring each day to camp: A notebook, pen, and pencil.
After camp, all footage is sent to a professional editor. A digital film will be emailed to you. Allow up to 3 months editing.

Step into the robotic and rocketry world while building a basic robot and beginner rockets. This camp will be filled with discussion of past, present, and future robotics and rocketry. Science fiction is discussed to show that without it, the advances in technology would be difficult. With this hands-on course, the history and future of robotics and rocketry is at your fingertips.

Musical Theatre 3 Week Camp 7/6-24/2026 for Ages 11-14 RCHYC 5049 C01
*3-Week Camp that starts on July 6 and ends on July 24.
**Auditions are held on the first day of camp. If your camper misses the first day of camp, then your camper will be assigned a remaining part for the play.

A more advanced Musical Theatre Camp for campers that have a desire to perform onstage. Campers will learn to sing, act, and dance. A full-length Junior/Youth Musical will be performed. There will be two performances on the final two days of camp. Auditions will be held on the first day of camp. The music for the play will be rehearsed in the mornings and the dancing and staging will be in the afternoons. This Summer’s performance will be The Wizard of Oz, Jr.

Calling all swifties! Join us for a week as we learn about the different eras of Taylor Swift. Each day we will be exploring an era and participating in themed activities, along with creating a variety of crafts related to that era. Become a Chess Knight Intermediate RCHYC 6278 C01
This camp focuses on key strategic, tactical, and positional principles of the game. Campers practice 3 and 4 move checkmating patterns, learn thematic concepts and theory of chess openings, and learn how to evaluate the game of chess through motifs such as material, king safety, and piece activity. Campers are also introduced to basic endgame principles and the relationship of opening theory to middlegame play. Famous instructional games are shown to illustrate key tactical and positional concepts and students also learn how to improve through analysis incorporating chess engines. Campers are shown random positions and taught how to evaluate them based on common chess principles and improve their tactical vision through puzzles.

Making comics! Over the course of this camp, campers will develop a story, create characters, learn about writing dialogue, inking, adding color, creating panels, speech bubbles; and finally make their own short comic strip and/or create the beginning of their own comic masterpiece. Please note this is not a "learn to draw" camp.

This camp is designed to expand on basic skills related to the fiber arts. Campers will spend the week experiencing activities that include weaving, cross-stitch, and basic sewing skills both by hand and on a sewing machine. Campers will use this skill set in each area to produce treasured crafts to take home, such as wall hangings, tote bags, keychains, aprons, and a sewn stuffie. Don’t miss out on the fun!

This camp is perfect for the aspiring young ‘actors’ in your household. It is here they will learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings. Your camper will learn how to personalize characters and follow directions, block for camera, and read with their ‘co-stars’. Voiceover will also be introduced. Improvisation and ad-libbing (off the script) will be taught as a basis of making acting choices and trusting their instincts. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills and confidence. Included in this camp is a take-home tutorial showing you ways to find acting jobs as well as a list of legitimate talent agencies.

Roblox Makers
Unlock the power of Roblox Studio, the world creation tool used by real-world Roblox developers. Learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your Roblox world. Bring characters to life with unique animations you design. Camper created projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Campers will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Decathlon and Track Camp RCHYC 5617 C02
The Decathlon Camp is designed to provide fundamental instruction and activity of Track and Field in the areas of Bio motor skills, running, hurdling, jumping, and throwing of implements. Each participant will be provided safe and accurate directions in trying to successfully accomplish these skills. It is recommended that campers bring extra water.
Lego and Stop Motion Animation RCHYC 5031 C05
*For each day of camp, campers will experience some instruction and examples before going off to work independently or in a group. This camp is designed to give campers as much lab time as possible to work on their creations.
In this dynamic week of camp, campers will create their own stop motion films from scratch, using Lego bricks and other small toy figures, if they wish! The instructor will be there every step of the way, helping you create your very own stop motion video! You will learn the animation process; create a workspace, develop a story, build a set, and shoot a stop motion animation using a smartphone/iPad, the app, Stop Motion Studio Pro! and Lego mini-figs.
Campers will need to bring their own Legos and other small toys to animate. Campers will be responsible for their own Lego sets and other small toys and will not be sharing them with other campers in this camp.

*This camp goes out fishing every day and campers will experience the summer heat. It is highly recommended campers bring hat, sunscreen, extra water and wear clothing and shoes that parents and campers don’t mind getting dirty or wet. The campers will take water and shade breaks throughout the day. Campers will be fishing in the rain; however, if there is a severe storm, the camp will be inside.
Fishing is a quintessential summer activity, and we’ll show you everything you need to know to get started in the hobby or take your fishing to the next level! Our activities will be based in Tyler State Park, which offers an exciting variety of fish species to target and several excellent locations to do so. Throughout the week, we’ll also develop various important skills that all fishermen can benefit from, including rod and gear maintenance, choosing the right tackle for your target fish, fishing safety and etiquette, and more! All skill levels are welcome, and while we encourage campers to bring their own gear if they have it, gear/tackle will be provided if necessary. We will be outside for the majority of each day, so good outdoor shoes, clothing, and water bottles are highly recommended. Bring rain gear if conditions merit it.

*This camp is structured like a class at school. Campers will research, work in groups, and complete readings in preparation for the Mock Trial at the end of the week. Recommended for participants who are interested in law.
Campers learn about the court system. They are taught trail skills such as opening statements, closing argument, direct and cross examination of witnesses, and how to get things into evidence. During the week, they role play as attorneys and as witnesses and the week culminates in a Mock Trial for a Jury of their families.

Campers will spend the week experiencing activities that include: weaving, cross-stitch, and basic sewing skills both by hand and on a sewing machine. *Campers work in teams and learn both in front and behind the camera learning various roles for show-creation. Green screens are used behind them to allow the projecting of cool graphics onto the background. For this reason, campers are urged not to wear green attire.
Your camper will work as cast and crew teams in this innovative cool camp. Campers are taught the basic levels of acting, directing, voice-over, operating the camera and working on green screen. Script writing, storyboarding and improvisation will also be introduced. Each day is different as they create projects such as commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills and confidence.
Materials Campers need to bring each day to camp: A notebook, pen, and pencil.

* This camp is structured like a class at school. Campers will research, work in groups, and complete readings in preparation for the debate at the end of the week. Recommended for participants who are seriously interested in learning the proper skills and etiquette for debating.
Campers learn different types of debate forms (Lincoln Douglas, Parliamentary, etc.) as well as how to research, validate and present their positions in order to be successful in the debate process. Over the course of the week, they will be taught and will practice persuasive speaking skills, as they learn the different techniques of debate. On the last day of camp, the campers debate their topics in front of an audience.

Participants will be provided opportunities to exercise hand-eye coordination while learning to use proper grip of the paddle, footwork, swing coordination hitting the ball and stroke coordination hitting a serve, ground stroke and volley. Game scoring and team cooperation will be introduced and will support different levels of ability. The focus of this camp is on cooperation and fun. It is recommended that campers bring extra water.

This camp is perfect for the aspiring young ‘actors’ in your household. It is here they will learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings. Your camper will learn how to personalize characters and follow directions, block for camera, and read with their ‘co-stars’. Voiceover will also be introduced. Improvisation and ad-libbing (off the script) will be taught as a basis of making acting choices and trusting their instincts. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills and confidence. Included in this camp is a take-home tutorial showing you ways to find acting jobs as well as a list of legitimate talent agencies.

This camp focuses on key strategic, tactical, and positional principles of the game. Campers practice 3 and 4 move checkmating patterns, learn thematic concepts and theory of chess openings, and learn how to evaluate the game of chess through motifs such as material, king safety, and piece activity. Campers are also introduced to basic endgame principles and the relationship of opening theory to middlegame play. Famous instructional games are shown to illustrate key tactical and positional concepts and students also learn how to improve through analysis incorporating chess engines. Campers are shown random positions and taught how to evaluate them based on common chess principles and improve their tactical vision through puzzles.
