Follow these steps to get started with ESL at Bucks.
- Placement Test – First, you must take the online placement test.
Start Placement Test - Interview – After you complete the placement test, we will schedule an interview with you.
- Register – Register for classes. View our ESL Registration Process. Online registration must be paid with a credit card. To register by cash or check, please visit our office.
Register for Class - Order Textbooks – Review your course registration confirmation for book information and a link to purchase.

CONVERSATION LEVEL 1 LESLA 0057 C01
February 29 - April 30 No class 3/19 & 3/21 10am-12pm
PREREQUISITE: MUST HAVE COMPLETED 1A (Or have a high beginner English proficiency level)
For beginning and low intermediate students to work on conversation and pronunciation skills.
Course will be in person on the Newtown campus.
CONVERSATION LEVEL 1 (C03) LESLA 0057 C03
February 29 - April 30 No class 3/19 & 3/21 10am-12pm
PREREQUISITE: MUST HAVE COMPLETED 1A (Or have a high beginner English proficiency level)

WRITING (Online) LESLA 0520 C02
PREREQUISITE: MUST HAVE AN INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED ENGLISH LEVEL
For intermediate and advanced students to work on writing skills and grammatical structure. This class is taught live online with an instructor. Textbook is NOT INCLUDED.
Associate Degree & Credit Classes
Students interested in advancing their education or pursuing a degree can begin with non-credit classes to improve their English. Bucks County Community College also offers credit AESL classes for those students interested in obtaining an associate degree. REFUND POLICY: Student withdrawal from enrollment and non-credit ESL course refund procedure: In the event that a course is canceled by the College (usually because of low enrollment), every attempt will be made to enroll you in another course or a full refund of your tuition will be issued. There is a $25 non-refundable withdrawal charge if you cancel your enrollment in a course. Your request must be received by phone or in person five (5) working days prior to the course starting date in order to receive a refund. Course refunds WILL NOT BE MADE AFTER THE START OF A CLASS.
