Earn Your Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice
Enroll in the Bucks County Community College Criminal Justice program and earn your Associate’s Degree while simultaneously working towards your Bachelor’s Degree. Make connections with your professors and fellow students as you learn and work towards your goals. Professors at Bucks County Community College are leaders in their fields. Learn from local Chiefs of Police, lawyers specializing in criminal defense or prosecution, police officers serving throughout local counties, sheriffs, and professional administrators in the local court system.
All professors in the Criminal Justice program hold a minimum of a Master’s degree with several holding a Juris Doctor degree. Class sizes are small with no more than 30 students per class which enables you to get to know your professors.
Design a Program Which Suits Your Career Goals and Academic Interests
Bucks Criminal Justice is unique among community college programs: at Bucks, you design a program to focus on your future plans, with your choice among criminal justice electives including: Terrorism, Criminal Evidence, Criminal Procedure, Outlaw Gangs and Organized Crime, Police Organization and Administration, Introduction to Corrections, Probation and Parole, and/or our internship class (a class where you can earn class credit while interning at a place of your choosing).
The Criminal Justice Program of Study holds classes on three campuses and online all year long, including Summer and Winter Sessions. The criminal justice program of study can be completed all online, all in-person or utilizing a combination. Make your own schedule, along with guidance from an assigned faculty advisor, and decide what works best for you!

Transfer to a Four-Year College or University or Directly Launch Your Career
Bucks County Community College was founded in 1964 as a two-year public institution. Bucks Criminal Justice students transfer to Temple University, Penn State Abington, West Chester University, La Salle University, Holy Family University, Delaware Valley College, Gwynedd Mercy University, University of Pittsburgh, and many others!
Through our several transfer agreements, many of these colleges and universities even offer significant scholarships (money you will not owe or have to pay back) or reduced tuition for Bucks Criminal Justice graduates holding an Associate’s degree in criminal justice.
Criminal Justice students holding their Associate’s degree have also gone on to directly hold positions within the Criminal Justice field.
