2026 Graduate Spotlight: Noah Morris

Noah Morris

From the Court to the Classroom, Business Major Scores Success

At 19 years old, Noah Morris of Bensalem is graduating from Bucks County Community College summa cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA, an associate degree in Business Administration, and a long list of accomplishments that reflect both academic excellence and leadership on campus.
In April, Noah was named to the 2026 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team by the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa, an honor that earned him a tuition waiver for the final two years of his bachelor’s degree at a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education university. This fall, he plans to continue his education at West Chester University, where he will study finance.
For Noah, choosing Bucks was about finding where he fit in best.
“I chose Bucks because it felt like the right place for me both athletically and academically,” he said. “I liked the class sizes and how you had a real relationship with your professors.”
That supportive environment helped Noah thrive from his first semester onward. Along with excelling in the classroom, he became captain of the Centurions men’s basketball team and joined the College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Balancing athletics, academics, and campus involvement required discipline and determination, but Noah embraced the challenge.

From challenge to opportunity

One obstacle he faced came in an unexpected place: an online math course.
“It was hard at first because I had never learned math through a video,” he said. “But it got easier, and I spent a lot of time at the Academic Success Center to help me succeed.”
Rather than becoming discouraged, Noah leaned into the support systems available at the College. He credits Bucks faculty and staff with helping him grow both personally and academically.
“I loved the willingness of the professors, administrators, and staff to help whenever I needed it,” he said.
Among the professors who made the biggest impact was Professor Charles Beem, whom Noah had for two classes. Dr. Beem is also the advisor to PTK.
“He is very knowledgeable and always ready to help any student when they need it,” Noah said.

A family milestone

Noah’s success at Bucks has been a family affair as well. He lives in Bensalem with his parents, younger sister Ella, brother Antonio, and the family dog. This spring, Antonio is also graduating from Bucks County Community College magna cum laude.
Outside of class and basketball, Noah enjoys working out and golfing, but his focus is firmly set on the future. His experience at Bucks helped solidify his interest in pursuing a career in finance.

Looking ahead

As he prepares for graduation and the transition to West Chester University, Noah says graduating from Bucks marks both an ending and a beginning.
“Getting this degree means closing this great chapter at Bucks and starting a new one at West Chester.”
