Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Bucks County Community College (BCCC) honored 19 students who completed four weeks of paid pre-apprenticeship training on Friday, April 24. The training – the first of its kind in Pennsylvania – was designed to prepare the workforce needed for the construction and operation of data centers and other information technology infrastructure. After the graduation ceremony at the College’s Center for Advanced Technologies, located at the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, the students networked with potential employers at a job fair.
