Commencement Program Information
Although we strive to maintain accuracy in the Commencement program, there may be instances where a candidate's name is not included due to printing deadlines, or when students become eligible to graduate due to a substitution, waiver, transfer credit, or other change in their status after the Commencement program has been printed. Additionally, names of individuals who have not fulfilled graduation requirements may be included. Any graduates and honors listed in the program are subject to change. The official determination of graduation and degree honors for diplomas and transcripts will be made after final grades are reported and confirmed. Therefore, the printed Commencement program should not be used to determine a student's academic degree status.
Graduates who are unable to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, and would like a program, can pick one up in the Enrollment Services Office after May 18 (Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Lower Level Linksz Pavilion). Commencement programs are available on a first come first served basis after the ceremony.
Diplomas and Certificates
Graduates are reminded that diplomas and certificates are not handed out at the Commencement Ceremony. Graduates participating in the Commencement Ceremony will receive a diploma cover when they cross the stage, but the actual diploma or certificate is mailed to their home address a few weeks after graduation and degree conferral. Graduates who are unable to attend the Commencement Ceremony, and would like a diploma cover, can pick one up in the Enrollment Services Office after May 18 (Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Lower Level Linksz Pavilion).
Students with obligations to the College will have the diploma or certificate held until all obligations have been met.
