Cisco Duo
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Upgrade
Bucks County Community College is replacing OneLogin with Cisco Duo to strengthen campus cybersecurity and better protect your college account.
Duo is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) service that adds an extra layer of security when you sign in. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without completing a second verification step.
Why is this changing?
Cybersecurity threats continue to evolve. Duo helps protect your account and college information by requiring you to confirm your identity when you sign in.
What is Duo Mobile?
Duo Mobile is a secure app that helps you verify your identity when you sign in. Instead of receiving a code by text message or email, you will receive a notification on your registered device. Simply approve the notification to complete your sign-in.
When will this happen?
The transition is scheduled for August 2026 to help minimize disruptions before the start of the academic year.
What do I need to do?
When it is time to enroll, you will receive step-by-step instructions through your official Bucks email.
Need help?
The IT Help Desk will be available throughout the transition to answer questions and help you set up Duo Mobile.
