Employers
Our Students
Our students' backgrounds range from fresh out of high school to experienced adults seeking additional training or changing careers. All courses of study at Bucks are designed to prepare our students to make substantial contributions in the workplace in addition to providing students with a solid liberal arts education. Therefore, our Center for Student Employment and Career Development office strives to partner with area employers.

Online Job Board
Handshake will replace our current system, Symplicity, as of 6/30/21. Hanshake will offer your team many great new features like:
Managing all your campuses with Handshake at no cost.
A mobile experience - update your job postings, view applicants, and more all while on the go using Handshake's responsive design.
If you are currently recruiting on handshake, please connect with us! If you are not sure how to connect with us, see the guidelines here
If you are new to handshake, follow the directions below to create an account to get started:
- If you’re new Handshake, follow this link: https://app.joinhandshake.com/employer_registrations/new
- Complete your registration information. Keep an eye out for an email confirmation to verify your employer account. Email verification is required in order to move on to the next step.
- Once your account has been approved, you can then login and join an existing company, or create a new one if the company is not already on file.
- If you need to create a new company, please follow the steps here: https://support.joinhandshake.com/hc/en-us/articles/219133047-Create-an-Employer-User-Account-Join-a-Company-and-Connect-with-Schools
- Once you’ve connected to your selected company, you can then connect to schools.
- After connecting with at least 1 school, you can start posting jobs.
- To expedite posting approvals with us, please check out our job posting guidelines:
Handshake for Personal positions such as Personal, Babysitter, Household, or Caretaker Jobs:
NEW USERS ONLY
- If you’re new Handshake, follow this link: https://app.joinhandshake.com/employer_registrations/new
- Your company name should be listed as “The (Last Name) Family”
- Complete your registration information. Keep an eye out for an email confirmation to verify your employer account. Email verification is required in order to move on to the next step.
- In this case, since this is a personal listing, you can use a personal email address, instead of a work email address to complete your registration.
- Please note: A Company Profile with a working website is required on Handshake when creating an employer account. Handshake Suggests: Since you wouldn't have a website for this type of job posting, you could potentially use your Facebook, LinkedIn, or any other social media profile as your website to bypass this required field.
Additional Resources
In addition to promoting the Bucks Online Job Board to students, upon request and with proper documentation, the Center for Student Employment and Career Development will forward your posting to the appropriate faculty members for distribution and post it on campus bulletin boards.
Job Fairs
The Center for Student Employment and Career Development will host one general Job Fair and one Healthcare Career Fair in the spring semester of each academic year. Please see our Events page for a list of dates and times.
