Blake H. Eisenhart

Blake H. Eisenhart is a retired senior finance, audit, and governance executive whose distinguished career spans more than four decades of leadership in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, higher education, and nonprofit service. Recognized for his expertise in financial oversight, strategic planning, and institutional governance, he has dedicated his career to strengthening organizations through principled leadership, accountability, and sound decision-making.

Mr. Eisenhart retired in 2018 as Chief Audit Executive of Unisys Corporation, a global information technology company operating in more than 40 countries. During his 18-year tenure, he directed the company's worldwide internal audit function, enterprise risk management program, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities. Under his leadership, Unisys' internal audit organization earned recognition for implementing innovative audit methodologies and best practices in governance and risk management.

Prior to joining Unisys, Mr. Eisenhart served as Business Risk Consulting Practice Leader for Arthur Andersen, where he developed and expanded the firm's internal audit and business risk consulting practice serving both public and nonprofit organizations. Earlier in his career, he held senior financial and audit leadership positions with Marriott International and Independence Bancorp, building extensive experience across the financial services, hospitality, and corporate sectors.

Mr. Eisenhart earned numerous professional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in five states, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He earned a master's degree from The Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with honors from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Classics.

Since 1986, Mr. Eisenhart has served on the Board of Trustees of Bucks County Community College, making him one of the institution's longest-serving trustees. During his tenure, he has served five terms as Chair of the Board, providing leadership through periods of institutional growth, financial challenge, strategic planning, and presidential transitions.

Mr. Eisenhart has chaired multiple presidential search committees and served extensively on the Board's finance, audit, facilities, governance, human resources, and strategic planning committees. Drawing on his corporate experience, he has helped guide the College's oversight of financial operations, capital investments, enterprise risk, and long-term planning while advocating for transparent governance, fiscal stewardship, and accountability. His commitment to education is rooted in the belief that community colleges are essential pathways to opportunity and economic mobility.

Beyond Bucks County Community College, Mr. Eisenhart has contributed his expertise to numerous educational and nonprofit organizations. He serves on the Board of the Graduate Enterprise Risk Management Center at St. John's University, is a member of the WHYY Community Advisory Board, and has served on the Audit and Finance Committee of the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). He also has served, or continues to serve, on elected and appointed political, county, and township boards, as well as historical, bicentennial, and military commemorative committees, including planning committees for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps' 250th anniversary celebrations.

Mr. Eisenhart is respected for his thoughtful, disciplined, and analytical leadership. He approaches complex issues with careful preparation, intellectual rigor, and objective analysis. Colleagues value his willingness to ask difficult questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and pursue solutions that strengthen institutions while preserving public trust.

A firm believer in servant leadership, Mr. Eisenhart views governance as a fiduciary responsibility to protect and advance the missions of the organizations he serves. Throughout his career, whether leading global audit and risk functions for a Fortune 500 company or helping shape the future of one of Pennsylvania's leading community colleges, he has remained committed to integrity, ethical leadership, responsible stewardship, and strengthening institutions that serve their communities.
