Dual Enrollment
The College’s Dual Enrollment Program allows high school students to enroll in college courses and earn college credit before graduating from high school upon completion of appropriate prerequisites. This unique opportunity expands students' educational experiences by providing access to college-level coursework, helping them explore academic interests, fulfill high school requirements and prepare for future success.
Students can participate through three flexible modalities:
High School-Based Courses: College courses preselected by participating high schools and offered on-site at the high school during the regular school day.
Online Courses: College courses offered in a fully online format, providing flexibility and access to a wide range of subjects.
Bucks Campus Courses: In-person college courses offered at Bucks County Community College campuses, allowing students to experience a traditional college environment while earning credit.
All Dual Enrollment courses are taught by qualified instructors and are designed to provide a seamless transition to college-level learning. Through participation in the program, students gain valuable college experience, build confidence in their academic abilities and get a head start on their higher education goals.
To maximize the benefits of Dual Enrollment, students should consult their high school guidance counselor before registering to confirm eligibility, review course selection and ensure that completed coursework will count toward applicable high school graduation requirements while also earning college credit.
