- VI. Catalog Course Description
- In this course, students examine advanced real estate law and the documents used in sophisticated residential and commercial transactions with concentration on financing, option contracts, title insurance, zoning, and the vocabulary of these advance transactions.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- Analyze a standard Pennsylvania real estate contract form for residential and commercial properties:
- Compose residential and commercial leases, special warranties, general warranties, quit claim deeds and real estate closing statements;
- Identify and explain the methods of clearing title exceptions in a title insurance report;
- Understand and discuss the different zoning classifications and their relation to a real estate transaction; and
- Use and apply understanding of financing as it specifically relates to option contracts and title insurance.
