- VI. Catalog Course Description
- Students will be assigned to clinical areas and attend clinical education for 24 hours per week. In the clinical setting, the student will demonstrate their knowledge in ethical situations, legal issues, evaluation of radiographic images and patient care situations.

Students will:
- examine procedure orders for accuracy and make corrective actions where applicable;
- interpret the radiographic image at a level expected of final semester student;
- demonstrate proficiency and independence in proper patient care skills, interpersonal skills and use of time;
- demonstrate the radiographers practice standards into clinical setting;
- demonstrate competent assessment skills through effective management of the patient's physical and mental status; and
- demonstrate required terminal clinical competencies.
