NLN Assessment Test

The NLN Practical Nursing Pre-Entrance Exam is the pre-admission assessment used by the Bucks County Community College Practical Nursing Program.

This standardized test, which requires no prior medical/nursing knowledge, helps nurse educators make decisions about admission and placement of prospective Practical Nursing students. The test assesses the following three areas:

• Verbal ability
• Mathematics
• Science

To prepare for the examination, the NLN has developed a Review Guide for LPN/LVN Pre-Entrance Exam, 3rd Edition.  This guide is available in bookstores or directly through Jones & Bartlett Publishers (www.jbpub.com), 1-800-832-0034.
