Fall 2017 Exhibition
Est. 1681: The Little Town That COULD!
September 5th through November 20th | Est.1681: The Little Town That COULD! Prospectus
The theme of this show was created to pay homage to Bristol Borough's amazing revitalization and success story that skyrocketed when the town won the Deluxe Small Business Revolution contest in the winter of 2017. The town was one of five across the United States to be selected as a finalist for the contest – from 14,000 nominations. Of the five, the Borough had the smallest population, but due to hard work, sheer determination and help from those far and near, the town received the most votes and ultimately won the Small Business Revolution.
Artists from all towns are encouraged to participate in this show by using the town of Bristol Borough (or another small town) as their inspiration and subject matter. There will cash prizes for first, second and third place. Artwork can reference Bristol Borough's history, present day, community, resurgence, businesses, and destinations.
