Counseling Services
What is Counseling at Bucks?
Student Services Counseling helps students to meet the challenges associated with their higher education and personal success endeavors.
Bucks Counselors assist students with selecting a program of study, career exploration, job search, understanding college policy and procedures, setting and working toward educational and life goals, and responding effectively when personal issues--things such as personal crisis, stress or depression--interfere with academics.
While Bucks counselors do not provide long-term mental health therapy and do not replace treatment for mental health concerns, they are an essential element in providing student support and ensuring student success.
How to Connect with a Bucks Student Services Counselor:
Counseling is available at all Bucks campuses. Students may connect with counselors face-to-face, by telephone, or online by calling 215-968-8189 or 215-968-8000 or counseling@bucks.edu. Or, stop by the Student Services area at your Bucks campus (at Newtown in the Rollins Center first floor)
To schedule an appointment to meet with a counseling staff member, please call 215-968-8189 or email counseling@bucks.edu.
If you are not looking to schedule an appointment but would like to talk briefly with a counseling staff member about a matter of urgency, please mention that you would like to speak by phone to a counselor as soon as possible and you will receive a call back.
In the event of an emergency you can contact our Office of Security and Safety 24/7 at 215-968-8395.
