To register for the Nurse Aide Training Program, you must have a high school diploma or GED, and complete the following steps:
- To review the eligibility and registration requirements, please download the Nurse Aide Training Program Registration Packet. You must complete all requirements listed in the Nurse Aide Registration packet prior to your registration appointment with the Coordinator. If you have questions, require further information or are unable to download the registration packet, please contact the Nurse Aide Training Program by phone 215-968-8353 Option 7 or email email@example.com.
- You must have a Physical Exam and Tuberculosis Test (2-step Mantoux (PPD), QuantiFERON, or chest x-ray indicating history of positive PPD).
- You must complete a Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check. If you have lived in Pennsylvania for less than two years, you must complete an FBI Background Check AND the PA Criminal Background Check. The FBI check can take up to three months to complete, so please take this into consideration when registering for the program. Information about the PA and FBI background checks are located in the registration packet.
- Once you complete the requirements, please contact the Nurse Aide Training Program to schedule a documentation review and registration appointment. To register for the program, you must bring your completed registration packet, required documentation and full payment to the registration appointment.
