The Tutoring Center works with many students who come in without a complete assignment description. Without those descriptions, it is difficult for the tutor to provide much concrete information, as we cannot be sure of the assignment's expectations, and we cannot be certain that it is not part of a graded in-class assignment. As a result of these realities, the Tutoring Center asks that instructors send copies of their assignments to us to keep on file. These assignments are used only if a student comes in without the assignment.
Also, occasionally instructors have specific parts of an assignment with which a tutor can assist a student. Faculty members may also use this form to provide specific, additional information or direction for the tutors working with students from a specific class.
