The ACT101-GOALS* Program

*Graduation Opportunity and Learning Skills

Effective immediately, the Act 101-GOALS program is discontinued due to lack of funding from the State of Pennsylvania. While this is unfortunate, there are many resources available for students who need tutoring, counseling, advising and other support services such as those previously offered to ACT 101-GOALS-eligible students at Bucks County Community College.

The following offices are available to assist you with your specific concerns:

• KEYS:
  • The KEYS program will continue to serve eligible students. KEYS is a grant funded program of the PA Department of Public Welfare designed to provide the opportunity for PA TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) cash recipients to enroll in Pennsylvania’s community colleges.

• PASS/Perkins Grant Support:
  • This program assists students who are enrolled in Occupational programs of study.

• Tutoring
  • The purpose of the Bucks County Community College Tutoring Center is to provide tutorial services at no additional cost to students enrolled in select courses offered by the College, in particular, to those students who would like assistance in mathematics, accounting, computer science, economics, writing, reading, study skills, American English as a second language, and foreign languages.
