VI. Catalog Course Description
This course is an in-depth exploration of computer hardware and software with emphasis on business applications, information systems, technological innovations and introductory hands-on software applications.
VII. Required Course Content and Direction
  1. Learning Goals:

      1. define the concepts and terminology involved in information processing systems;
      2. demonstrate an understanding of computer technologies used by businesses and individuals;
      3. demonstrate an understanding of systems software and operating systems; and
      4. demonstrate an understanding of application software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
