Catalog Course Description
This course introduces students to the history and foundations of terrorism, terrorism as a universal phenomenon, weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, and the future of terrorism. The major topics of study include modern day national and international events and their connections to terrorism. -

- Course Students will:
- analyze the origins and definition of terrorism;
- evaluate the psychological concepts associated with terrorism;
- differentiate between domestic and international terrorist groups; and
- evaluate the recent emergence of radical Islam and its connection to the events of September 11, 2001.
