    The course is a hands-on approach to the conservation and preservation of buildings. Building techniques are stressed.
  7. Required Course Content and Direction

    1. Learning Goals:

      1. To research and document historic outbuildings in the area
      2. To learn historic building technique from qualified demonstrators
      3. To restore small buildings, such as springhouses to their original state
      4. To develop the skills of woodworking and masonry in restoration
