Camp Cancellation Information
- Please make sure you register early to help avoid camp cancellations.
- The week before a camp is scheduled to run, we look at the enrollment numbers and will make a final decision if a camp has enough registrations to run. If we need to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, our Registration Office will notify you. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
- If we need to cancel a camp for any reason, we will make every attempt to place your camper in another camp. Otherwise, we will give you a full refund for the camp that we cancelled.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a higher price point than the camp we cancelled, you will need to pay the difference. This is due to the camp supplies fees that are included in the price of the camp.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a lower price point than the camp we cancelled, we will refund you the difference.

Enter the world of biology and chemistry in this experiment and STEM focused camp! From making volcanoes to making your own crystals, become a scientist (without the degree) in Junior Scientist Camp! We will dive deeper into understanding the chemical properties of these experiments and processes in the world around us!

Explore the wonderful world of art using different art mediums and materials. Let your creativity lead the way! Create beautiful works of art while using the elements of art and principles of design. We will be painting, drawing, sculpting, and creating much, much more! Please bring an art smock as we will be getting messy as we create!

Find the budding artist in you! We will make crafts using buttons, paper-mâché, yarn, and watercolors. We will be using recycled materials to make wind catchers and some modern art pieces. We will be having a lot of fun with paints, jewelry, slime, and much more.

Dive into the deep seas as we explore the life of a Pirate and the creatures of the ocean. Campers will learn all about the ocean and pirates. This week’s activities will include treasure hunts, map making, water play, and more! Come set sail for adventure!

Have fun with sports and a variety of schoolyard games. We will have a blast playing dodgeball, soccer, tee-ball, flag football, scooter games, and much more! Campers will also have fun with Yoga stretches and core exercises. We will learn the art of teamwork, leadership, and how to show good sportsmanship.

In this camp, we will be exploring nature and creating art and patterns with what we find and see! We will learn about colors and different art techniques to enhance our learning. Our hands will get dirty as we explore the connections between nature and art.

Wild World
Are you ready for an expedition? Let the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom inspire your empathy, curiosity, and creativity. Learn about lions, elephants, sharks and more, and find out how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. Experiment with a variety of art techniques and use Crayola products to create animal-inspired art projects, from frog paintings to polar bear sculptures! Let your creativity run wild and bring your handiwork home to build a menagerie of animal-themed masterpieces.
Underground Explorers
Learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities. Discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life. Study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history. Make incredible projects to take home, like an amber time capsule and antique coins from around the world.

NASA: Journey to Outer Space/NASA: STEM Explorers RCHYC 6246 C01
NASA: Journey to Outer Space
Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena. Create a comet and build your own Mad Science rocket and participate in a real NASA style rocket launch! Campers will take home additional NASA activities to complete at home!
NASA: STEM Explorers
Developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Research Challenge. Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes to solve a problem here on Earth?

Chemical Curiosities
Become a creative chemist through the investigation of the periodic table and the atoms that make up everything around us! Learn about chemical reactions as you grow crystals. We will experiment oxidizing metals with different chemicals to see how rusty they get, design chromatography bandanas to take home, and even make our very own ice cream!
Super Slimy Smokey Science
Dive into a variety of scientific fields as you help solve a mystery, stretch silly putty and slime, copper-plate nickels, tinker with circuits, and investigate optical illusions. Become captivated by lasers, dry ice, and hair-raising experiments! You will love what happens when you mix science and fun!

Recipe for Science RCHYC 5922 C01
Add one cup bubble making to 1/2 cup of invisible ink. Sprinkle in building volcanoes and marshmallow bridges. Add 2 teaspoons of slime-making and whip in some air to make balloons and airplanes. Pour in 1 Tbsp. color experimentation with icing. Taste lemon fizzes, homemade ice-cream, different flavored cookies. Mix it all together with afternoon outside time and you get fun and a dash of excitement.

The most creative and innovative work comes from circumstances that force a new type of thinking for solutions. We will have fun brainstorming and designing maker activities such as marble mazes, Lego challenges, bead coding, bridges, flotation devices and much more. Join me to launch some creative design thinking.

Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about the ocean, Mars, and a futuristic city! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Experiment with Crayola products and a wide variety of art techniques like sculpting, collage, and mixed media. Discover design careers including graphic design, fashion design, board game design, and architectural and urban design.
