‘Big Laughs on Campus’ Offers Free Yuks to Help Bucks Students May 20
Bucks Live! online series with nationally known comedians continues May 20; tickets are free with donations encouraged to help Bucks students
Bucks County Community College invites you to get your “humor degree” with “Big Laughs on Campus,” a live, online monthly comedy series that gives back to Bucks students.
Hosted by comedy veteran Marc Kaye, the series features nationally known comedians now headlining directly from their couches, kitchens or living rooms. The laughs get rolling from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. every third Thursday through May. Tickets are free, but donations are suggested to the Bucks County Community College Foundation to help Bucks students.
Kaye has performed in clubs across the country, often finding that there are no real regional differences that can’t be overcome with humor. An avid writer and musician, Kaye has also written scripts, web series, and numerous humor articles, and written and trained for Fortune 500 Companies. He is the founder of Eliro (eliro.us), a company that combines the discipline of marketing and the creativity of humor and improv to help train, develop content, and drive strategic planning.
Brought to you by the Bucks Live! cultural series, the final event of the season features Matt Jenkins and Scott Brennan on Thursday, May 20.
Matt Jenkins is known for his clean, quick-witted brand of comedy. Quickly becoming known as one of NY/NJ’s strongest clean comics, Matt uses his diverse background, in combination with solid joke writing and charisma, to give audiences a relatable as well as memorable experience.
Although tickets to access the online event are free, donations are encouraged to the BCCC Foundation’s Fighting Food Insecurity Fund, established to help Bucks students with groceries and other needed essentials. Go to tinyurl.com/DonateBucks to make a donation. Under “Area of Support,” please select “Fighting Food Insecurity Fund” from the drop-down menu.
Free tickets for the live, online event must be reserved at bucks.edu/tickets. A link to view the performance will be sent by email after registration.
