Bucks Offers Funded Healthcare Training to Unemployed or Underemployed Residents

Bucks County Community College, in partnership with PA CareerLink, is seeking unemployed or underemployed Bucks County residents to apply for healthcare certificate programs. Training is funded for those who qualify.
PA CareerLink will determine if applicants qualify for funded tuition. Programs offered include EKG Technician Hybrid, Nurse Aide Certification, and Pharmacy Technician. In most cases, certificate programs can be completed in less than a year.
Free information sessions about these opportunities will be held on the following dates and locations:
- 12:30 p.m. Wed. Dec. 4 – Founders Hall Room 140, Newtown Campus, 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa.
- 12:30 p.m. Thu. Dec. 5 – South Building Room 257, Upper Bucks Campus, One Hillendale Rd., Perkasie, Pa.
- 1 p.m. Fri. Dec. 6 – PA CareerLink, 1260 Veterans Highway, Bristol, Pa.
Students and must be at least 18 years old; have either a high school diploma or GED (with exception for Nurse Aide); and must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a Green Card.
