Practical Nursing Class of 2019 Achieves 100% Pass Rate on NCLEX Licensing Exam
Bucks is ranked among the top-10 LPN programs in Pennsylvania; free information session set for Wed. Oct. 16 at Newtown
Bucks County Community College’s practical nursing class of 2019 has achieved a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-PN, the National Council Licensure Examination for practical nursing, college officials announced.
That means all graduates who took the exam are now officially licensed practical nurses, according to Michelle Rue Camp, program director. She credited the program’s dedicated faculty and staff, along with the students’ hard work.
“I work with an amazing team of instructors who are dedicated to helping our students succeed,” said Camp. “And the students work so hard in our accelerated program, with many of them juggling personal and financial challenges.”
The milestone is the latest example of the high-quality practical nursing program at Bucks. Earlier this year, NursingProcess.org, a nonprofit website for healthcare education information, ranked Bucks’ practical nursing program eighth out of all 57 programs approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
