Ready to take your great idea, product or service and turn it into a business? You will explore what is involved in creating, starting up and running a small business. We will determine if you have the passion to be an entrepreneur, the steps required to start your business and options for financing your business venture. You will learn how to evaluate your idea, understand your customer, and define exactly what and why people will buy from you. You will learn how to structure and organize your business, business financials, and marketing.
Fred Fisher is a Bucks County Resident who has spent his career working for, managing and supporting small and family businesses in the Tri State Area. Fred prides himself in being resourceful, creating value and growing a business utilizing limited resources. Fred serves as the facilitator of our “ So You Want to Start a Business” class where he encourages learning through collaboration.
Fred is an engineering graduate of Purdue University and he received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.

Improve your business by using your smart phone and the power of video. You will learn how to record high-quality audio and video, transfer that footage into a computer where you will edit it using the free version of Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve software, a Hollywood-grade video editing program. We will take the skills learned in the course and create a promotional/ commercial video for your product or service that could be placed on the Internet or used in your store to expand your reach with your customers.
