Our deans are the top academic officers of the college’s programs of study. They oversee an academic department of like majors and work with their faculty to provide you with a first-rate education, interesting coursework, and learning outcomes to take you
further along your educational and career paths. They enjoy talking with our students,

Language & Literature

Meet Nicole Tracey, Dean of the Language and Literature department, with majors in English, Global Studies/World Languages, Guided Studies (for the undecided student), Journalism, and Liberal Arts.
Kinesiology & Sport Studies

Meet Dr. Priscilla Rice, Dean of Kinesiology and Sport Studies. The programs of study (majors) in her department include degrees in Exercise Science, Health and Physical Education, Sport Management, and the newest, Dance. A certificate program in Recreational Leadership is also offered.

Meet John Mathews, Dean of the Arts, which includes Art and Art History, Cinema Video Production, Communication Studies, Fine Arts, Fine Woodworking, Graphic Design, Multimedia and Digital Arts, Music, and Photography. Certificate programs feature Applied Photography, Furniture and Cabinetry, and Web Design and Multimedia.
