Immaculata University Agreement

This agreement applies to students entering full-time day programs in the College of Undergraduate Studies or part-time programs in the College of LifeLong Learning (except for nursing).

Transfer Admission Agreement

  • Bucks students may submit a “Transfer Admission Intent to Enroll Form” at the time of admission to Bucks, or not later than when they have completed 30 college transferable credits, including Bucks courses and those from other colleges and universities.
  • Application fees will be waived for students submitting an Intent Form.
  • Students are required to satisfy all Immaculata University admissions requirements, including submitting an Immaculata University Application for Admission and meet the deadline for the semester they wish to transfer to Immaculata University (August 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester.)
  • Students must graduate from Bucks with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  • Up to 64 credits may be transferred for the traditional day program and upto 72 credits for the College of Lifelong Learning.
  • To benefit from this agreement, students should enroll at Immaculata University within one year of graduating from Bucks and not attend another institution between graduation and enrollment at Immaculata University.
  • Students entering full-time study through the College of Undergraduate Studies will receive academic scholarships and/or grants as outlined below (Students in the College of Lifelong Learning are not eligible for admissions scholarships):
    • $12,500-15,000 academic scholarship to transfer students with a GPA of 3.20-4.00
    • $7,000-12,000 academic scholarship to transfer students with a GPA of 2.00-3.19
    • $6,500 grant to transfer students with a GPA of less than 2.00

Transfer Agreement for Radiography (Bucks Students) and Allied Health (Immacualta Students)

  • FOR BUCKS RADIOGRAPHY STUDENTS:
    • Immaculata will accept up to 73 transferrable credits from the successful completion of the Bucks A.A.S in Radiology.
    • Students will apply the credits towards the B.S. in Allied Health for Clinical Professionals and/or B.A. in Health Care Management (offered through the College of Lifelong Learning).
    • A grade of "C" or better is required for all courses transferred.  Students entering into the Allied Health program must maintain an overall GPA of "C+" and a grade of "C+" or higher in all mathematics, natural science, and required program courses.
    • Student would need to provide documentation of passage of the ARRT examination.  Students who have not yet completed the examination may be granted provisional acceptance - allowing completion of up to 12 credits at Immaculata.
    • Admission to additional baccalaureate programs will be reviewed and determined upon individual request and based upon any existing agreements with Immaculata.
  • FOR IMMACULATA STUDENTS:
    • Bucks will provide the clinical training to qualified Immaculata students who wish to complete their studies at Bucks within its Radiography program.
    • Immaculata will provide the first 3 years of the baccalaureute education towards the B.S. in Allied Health.
    • Immaculata will accept credits in transfer, via Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), into the B.S. in Allied Health.  The number of credits accepted will align with what is needed for the student to complete the B.S. credit requirements.  The CPL fee will be waived for Immaculata students transferring credits back to Immaculata.
    • Students must meet all admission requirements for the Bucks Radiography program.
    • Students must achieve a grade of "C" or better in all science courses and students will have a GPA of 2.5 or higher to apply to Bucks.
    • Bucks will provide any required documentation to accrediting bodies for students to receive professional credentials
    • Students will complete the B.S. degree following completion of sufficient credits for IU graduation requirements through the Bucks Radiography program.  Students must complete the Bucks program in order to be eligible for the AART credential.
