Karl
Carter is proud to be teaching at BCCC for his
seventh consecutive year. Besides his
solo work, he has collaborated with many prominent artists in the Delaware
Valley as well as with several companies including the Disney Corporation.
Karl, who has been blowing glass for 21 years, has studied at the
University of the Arts, Penland School of
Craft, and Bucks County Community College. He
has won first prize
in sculpture at the Newtown Tri-Centennial Celebration.
His glass ornaments have been displayed on the White House Christmas tree
and his work is included in several private collections throughout the country.
Karl’s glass is currently on display at the Show of Hands Gallery in
Center City. In addition, Karl has
created ceremonial vessels for the Episcopal National Convention, the Episcopal
Diocese of Rhode Island and the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.
