Announcements
December 10:  Notes are available for section 7.8. A wee bit o' notation: ∀ t∉[t0, t1] translates as "for all t not in [t0, t1]". Also, I'm not going to have the last exam available at the Testing Center until around 1:00 pm Friday, but as compensation it will remain available for the taking until closing time on Thursday, December 18th. Isn't that great?

November 24:  More notes are available, this time for sections 4.4 and 4.8.

October 21:  More notes are available, though they date back to sections 2.5 and 3.3. Also assignment for sections 3.3, 4.1 and 4.2 are up.

October 3:  My office hours have been tweaked slightly, and are now: MW 11:50 am - 12:30 pm, 5:40 pm - 6:30 pm, F 11:50 am - 1:50 pm.

October 2:  Note the assignments for sections 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 below. I foresee Exam #2 occurring on Monday, October 13, and covering at least sections 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 3.2 and 3.3. Exam #3 is scheduled for Monday, November 3. Exam #4 is scheduled for Monday, November 24. Exam #5 is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17—barring any natural disasters, revolutions, or my running off to join a monastery.

September 10:  A 10th page of notes had been added: the beginnings of Section 2.2.
