Course Policies
Assignments
Students will be assigned several assignments during the
semester. |
Assignments MUST be completed and handed in by the
due date. |
Late assignments will not be accepted without valid reasons of
absence including hospitalization or death in the family.
In this case, students will be downgraded one grade for each day late. |
Students will receive a score of 0 (Zero) points or an
"F" for all assignments not handed in. |
Assignments must be typed and in the proper format for
assignment. Serious grade reduction will result from assignments, which
are not in the correct format. |
In-Class Assignments
Students will be given several in class writing assignments
during the semester. |
Assignments must be handed in by the end of class on the day
assigned. |
There will be no make-ups for students who are absent on the
day an in-class assignment is given. |
Absence, Lateness, Tardiness
Students
missing more than two (2) class meetings will receive a cut
of one (1) letter grade in the course.
Repeated
tardiness will be considered absence.
Students are
responsible for all material covered on days that they are absent. |
