NLN Testing

NLN (The National League for Nursing) develops admissions tests for both the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and the RN (Registered Nurse) Programs.

LPN Program:

To register for the NLN test for admission to the LPN Program at Bucks, call the LPN Program Office at 215-968-8316 and pay the non-refundable $55 NLN test registration fee by check, before the registration deadline. Make checks payable to BCCC. The schedule of test dates and registration deadlines is listed below. Be sure to arrive early.

RN Program:

To register for the NLN test for admission to the RN Program at Bucks, you must register through the Testing Center in person or by mail. Select a date from the schedule below and submit the $55 non-refundable NLN test registration fee by check, before the stated deadline. Make the check payable to BCCC. Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and requested test date, along with the check. Deliver it in person or mail it to:

Taking the NLN:

Please select your test date carefully.  Once registered for an RN-NLN or LPN-NLN test date, your test date appointment cannot be changed for any reason.  If you choose to reschedule your test date you must restart the test registration process and pay the full fee of $55.00 again.  NLN Testing fees are non-refundable.  If you do not test on your scheduled date, for any reason, your test fee will not be refunded.

The Testing Center is on the Newtown Campus, Rollins Center, room RC100, adjacent to the Cafeteria.

Two forms of identification must be shown at your scheduled test session. One must be a government-issued photo identification (ex. driver's license, passport). No one will be permitted to test without proper identification.

NOTE: 

Once you have taken an NLN-LPN or NLN-RN test, you must wait at least six months before retaking that test, or NLN will not score your test.
