BCCC GED Examination Schedule

May 2008 Through January 2009

Only Pennsylvania residents may take the GED in Pennsylvania.  You must present proof of residence (such as a driver's license or utility bill).  All test takers must know their social security number and must present a form of government issued photo identification (example: a drivers license or non-driver's identification card).

Please review the full listing of GED policies and requirements.  Use the link for "GED Testing Policies" on the left.

Appointments are not required if you are taking the GED for the first time.  Registration is scheduled as the first scheduled session.  If you are retaking one of the GED tests, you need to contact the Testing Center at least a week ahead of the date you plan to test so the correct test form can be set aside for you to retake.  Individuals only need to register once.  Registration is not required for retaking any of the five subject tests.

The complete GED is offered monthly at both the Main Campus in Newtown and at the Lower Bucks Campus (LBC) in Bristol.  Most of the monthly sessions are held over a two-day period, on a Monday and Tuesday, with individual Subject Tests scheduled in the morning and afternoon.  Testing Sessions in July and August at the Main Campus in Newtown, are scheduled over three evenings, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning at 5:00 p.m.  All five GED Subject Tests are offered at each of the monthly two or three day sessions.  The schedule of test dates and the start times for each Subject Test are listed below.

A Visitor's Parking Permit is required on the Newtown campus.  Stop at the Security Office to receive a Visitor's Parking Permit at no cost.   Driving directions to the campuses in Newtown and Bristol can be accessed under "Quick Links" on the Bucks web site, at  http://www.bucks.edu
