Prolific Author Judith Viorst Speaks on 'Control' April 6
Book signing to follow with author of 30 books for adults and children
The Women’s Center at Bucks County Community College presents best-selling author Judith Viorst Monday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at the Newtown campus.

The author of 30 books for children and adults, including Imperfect Control: Our Lifelong Struggles with Power and Surrender, will speak on “Control.” Viorst is also well-known as the author of 16 children's books, including Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and four nonfiction books, including Necessary Losses, which was on the New York Times best-seller list for two years.
Viorst (pictured, right) received a BA in History from Rutgers University, and she is also a graduate of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute where she is a research affiliate. Viorst lectures widely on a variety of topics, ranging from the subjects of loss and control to children's literature. She resides in Washington, D.C., with her husband Milton, a political writer.
