Apprenticeships

Have you completed an Apprenticeship Program provided by one of the following organizations?  If so you may be eligible for BCCC equivalent credit. (Equivalent credit is not automatically accepted by transfer schools, and anyone planning to transfer should research this matter with the transfer schools(s) concerned.)

• Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc.
• International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers
• International Training Institute for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Industry Laborers-AGC
• National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry
• UAW-GM Center for Human Resources

The American Council on Education has determined that the above programs are worthy of equivalent college credit.

On presentation of an official transcript (one sent directly from the issuing institution to BCCC) you may therefore receive 33 equivalent occupational elective credits towards the Bucks County Community College Occupational Studies Major.
