Registration
- Admission and Registration
for eLearning/Hybrid courses is handled identically to on-campus
courses. Mail-in registration has been discontinued and is replaced by Web registration. Late registration must be conducted in person.
- Standard registration deadlines apply to eLearning/Hybrid courses, except in the following cases:
- Students who live more than 50 miles from the Newtown campus may continue to submit registration requests via FAX until the close of final registration (following walk-in and drop/add). Payment via credit card must be included with the faxed registration. Please print in bold letters on your FAX cover sheet: STUDENT LIVES MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM CAMPUS.
- Online registration for modular Online Learning sessions (10-week sessions beginning in March, June, October, and November) usually remains open until 1 week prior to the start date of the modular session. We strongly recommend that registrations for modular courses should reach the Admissions office no later than 1 week prior to the start date of the course.
- Before registering for any eLearning/Hybrid course
you should:
- carefully consider if online learning is
appropriate for you.
- speak with an
advisor if
you have any questions or concerns regarding your academic goals or
which courses you should enroll in.
- be sure you can meet all of the course requirements -
check for detailed course information or contact the course instructor.
- The
College Calendar also lists registration dates as well as other important
academic deadlines and events.
- Procedures for making
changes after registration are detailed on the college's main
website. Several of the procedures require you to complete a
form and mail it to the Admissions Office:
- Online Learning students may be eligible for financial aid.
Students may be enrolled in online courses only, or in a
combination of online courses and traditional courses.
Requests for applications and additional information should be
directed to the College's Financial
Aid Office.
- Tuition and fees for eLearning/Hybrid courses are the same as for
on-campus courses. The tuition table may
be used as a guideline.
There are no special charges to students participating in online
learning courses. However, students may be expected to purchase materials
which support this learning mode.
