Learning Styles
What type of learner are
you?
Just as there are differences
in personality, there are differences in the ways
that people learn and use information. Some people
are quiet and tend to be reflective in the way
they process information. Others are 'take charge'
people who need to put information to immediate
use and to solve problems. Some people seem to
absorb information like a sponge, while others
must work hard to soak up any information.
Learning Styles
A learning style is the
way in which a person learns most effectively.
Everyone has his or her own learning style. There
is no one 'right' way to learn. If you haven't
taken the time to discover your own learning style,
do so now by visiting The
Basics of Effective Learning on the BCCC website.
Then you can adapt study strategies that will
work best for you.
